From a very early age (it is funny that most people I know in this line of work tend to start off like this and if you are reading this perhaps this applies to you as well?), I knew that I was sensitive to energy and spiritual things.  In particular I would see things which other people could not; in addition, I would feel the palm of my hands heat up for no reason what so ever (I believe now that this was latent Reiki and linked to the Chakra's (energy centres) in my palms.  My only regret was that I wish know that I could have not found Reiki sooner; then again, I do not believe that I was ready for it (I will explain that to you one day).

It took me a long time to realise that I had a purpose which wasn't what I doing in my day job.  However, my logical mind stopped me from accepting the path which I was going down.  Then around 12 years I met and married my wife Debra and she gave me the confidence to follow the path which I had not accepted for so long.  

Reiki massage

In December 2008 I was very fortunate to study under Jill Cooper (Reiki Master) the Reiki first degree of Usui Shiki Ryoho.  Then in August 2009 I completed the Reiki second degree (Practioner).  Normally there is a gap of around two to three years before you undertake your Master Teaching level and the first degree.  However, I had been allowed to do this early and I then completed my Masters (Reiki III) in May 2010.  This was a great honour for me and I hope that I am able to teach others Reiki in the many years to come.

Now at the tender age of 45 I have been very lucky to study Mediumship and Reiki for many years; I still classify myself though as a developing medium and student of Reiki. Please let me be clear that this is solely the way that I work and, not how other Reiki practioners work.   

One of the questions that people continually ask me is what conditions do you think that Reiki would help?  My answer is that it can help mostly all conditions and is not just conditional to human beings as well.  I have used the reiki energy on animals and plants before in the past so it's use is limitless.

Finally, I just wanted to touch on my developing mediumship; until recently I was part of a mediumship/psychic development circle for the last four years which was run by a very good medium and now friend Sarah Johnson (07770 332693).  This allowed me to develop my bond between this world and the next.

One question which I always get asked is how much do I charge for each session. Generally most sessions last between one to one and half hours depending on the person that I am seeing. The cost for each session is between £20 to £30 £15 plus one tumble crystal of your choice.

The tuition costs for learning Reiki are:

- Reiki I is £150
- Reiki II is £175
- Reiki III Master £200; and
- Reiki III Master Teacher £250

(the costs of the two day courses include all of the documentation that you need but exclude any residential costs).

"First thing in the morning just after you wake up, try standing by an open window (hopefully the sun will be up, keep your eyes open and take the time to breathe in and out slowly 20 times.  As you breathe in, take in the colour of the sun or if it's dark imagine the colour of yellow following the path of your breathe in and seaping through the whole of your body.  As you go through the count of 20 imagine your whole body being surrounded by a warm yellow glow."
